F1 for sale – finally

Formula One Administration have at long last woken up to the potential of F1 merchandise and have begun selling F1-branded gear. The online F1 store has gear starting at £6 for a humble notepad, up to £390 for a chronograph watch.
It’s great to see these (belated) steps into the kind of promotion that Moto GP has built an enormous fan base on. Let’s hope leads to more products like Champ Car’s excellent Race Director (which I used to watch last weekend’s Milwaukee 225 when British Eurosport failed to boadcast it) and not NASCAR’s dubious line in branded meats.
