The Great Design Race

Alain Prost, McLaren-Honda, 1988Formula One fans in London should get themselves down to the Design Museum for The Great Design Race, an exhibition of F1 cars and engineering that runs from July 1st to October 29th. Examples of Formula One cars include the revolutionary ground effect Lotus 79 that Mario Andretti won the 1978 championship with and the 1988 McLaren-Honda MP4/4-2 that still holds the record for greatest percentage of wins in a single season.
