Yesterday’s Grand Prix may be the last we ever see at Suzuka. That would be a terrible shame, however good the Fuji Speedway turns out, because Suzuka is one of those truly special circuits that defines the sport and drips with its history.
With that in mind, we’ve compiled 36 stunning Suzuka shots to remember it by.

Two memories from Suzuka will never leave my mind: “Alonso has just passed Michael Scumacher around the outside of 130R. Incredible.” – James Allen commentating the 2005 Japanese Grand Prix.
And “I’m afraid I am going to have to stop talking now because I have a lump in my throat.” – Murray Walker commentating on Damon Hill’s 1996 Japanese Grand Prix Championship winning race.
A fantastic circuit that is sorely missed for 12 months each year, and may well be sorely missed for a lot longer this time.
Great photos Keith, some of them really capture the passion that surrounds Suzuka.
