I don’t think it would bother Kimi too much if Michael will test, behind closed doors, for Ferrari, as long as the inputs provided by Michael will help Kimi in reaching on top of the podium. After all Kimi also want to show McLaren that he also have capability given a fast & reliable car.

And I really don’t think that Ferrari would blow trumpets in public if Michael would test for them. It’ll always be a closely guarded affair.

It’s a fascinating prospect – what does that say about the active drivers if they bring in the old driver to do some testing?

It’s not unprecedented (Panis at Toyota, for example) but when your driver’s Kimi Raikkonen and you’re drafting in Michael Schumacher, it’s hugely significant.

…and I wonder whether this will be the breaking point for the Iceman – I think he’s a bit under pressure and/or has some issues with Michael. Remember the “I was having a ****” [while Schumacher was hugging Pele at Interlagos] comment in Brazil, or what I read in this website about Kimi letting Schumi past the same day (which I believe is also a lie). Could you see him losing his cool if Schumacher is given test track time?

Todt was talking about Schumacher driving the car during testing? You think that’s a possibility, maybe during the year? I can see Schumacher testing behind closed doors in Italy…
