Usually,I see F1 cars just on TV. I saw at an exhibition a Ferrari next to a Mclaren Mercedes, and the Ferrari was more like a “box” with wheels, while the Mclaren was beautiful. The cars were from ‘97 or ‘98 season.
From the pictures above, I like the Lotus 49B.

Hey ‘valy’ …… what makes a car “ugly”? Now the most beautiful
car at Festival this year is the B.R.M. P25. smooth, efficient, the minimum number for parts to win races. Of course you’ve got to be an old goat like me to remember them running! National colours, NO commercial advertising and drivers who would talk to the public!
Thanks for reminding me of the ‘good old days’.

apologies we missed you again today

the weather kinda messed up our plans, we didn’t have any portable lighting, so the sun was a bit necessary.

hopefully we can catch up at silverstone, or failing that do something on the phone soon.
