Andreas Zuber took a confident victory in the feature race at Silverstone despite being pushed all the was by Mike Conway.
The front row pair got away cleanly and won the race from Kazuki Nakajima.
The Japanese driver was promoted to third after problems struck third placed Timo Glock and fourth placed Adam Carroll.
Zuber’s win means eight different drivers have won the first eight rounds of the season.
