Posted onYvan Muller gave Seat a historic win for its diesel-powered Leon at only the second outing for the car. He passed team mate Gabriele Tarquini early in the race after a restart following two crashes on the first lap.
GP2 Turkey Sprint: Glock back on top
Posted onTimo Glock took the lead of the GP2 championship back off Lucas di Grassi with an untroubled win the sprint race at Istanbul. Having won yesterday’s feature race di Grassi failed to score after picking up a drive-through penalty in the sprint event.

He profited from poor luck for title rival Timo Glock who narrowly missed out on a podium finish after a stirring drive. Giorgio Pantano finished second ahead of Adam Carroll who scraped across the line ahead of Glock.
