Suzuka to return in 2009

Michael Schumacher, Ferrari, Suzuka, 2006 | Ferrari MediaThe Suzuka circuit will return to the F1 calendar in 2009.

It will host the Japanese Grand Prix in a deal with the Fuji Speedway to share the event. Fuji will hold the race on October 7th this year and will hold it again in 2008. After that the two venues are expected to alternate.

The Nürburgring and Hockenheimring have begun sharing the German Grand Prix this year, although there is a dispute over the use of the event’s title. Links below.
