Ralf Schumacher is being mocked once again – this time by animal rights activists…

Plus BMW in good shape for 2008, problems for Prodrive, and vote for F1Fanatic.co.uk in the 2007 Weblog Awards.

F1Fanatic’s Post of the Week

Deer Mr Schumacher…

PETA are certainly not above throwing a low punch – and this one landed, amusingly, on Ralf Schumacher. Talk about kicking someone when they’re down: “We hope that, in the future, you will follow the fine example of your brother, Michael-not only with regard to winning races but also with regard to being kind to animals.” Handbags!

Of course, I do have to admit a vested interest here – I also write for the Auto Trader blog – but this isn’t one of my posts.

More F1 in the blogs

Give me a freakin’ break – Not impressed with Luca di Montezemolo’s suggestion that Lewis Hamilton would owe a debt of gratitude to Ferrari were he to win the championship.

Raikkonen & Kovailenananan don’t get on? – Fellow Finns Mika Hakkinen and Mika Salo didn’t.

Readiness for 2008 – BMW are looking good for next year writes Clive.

Will Prodrive make it into the 2008 season? – The rumoured McLaren B-team face a protest before they’ve even got going.

Why Brits slate Lewis Hamilton – He’s provoked massive debate on F1Fanatic this week – here’s another blogger on why some British fans don’t like Lewis.

The Spanish fans weren’t happy with Ron Dennis – And someone needs to tell them that ‘equal rights’ is probably not what Fernando Alonso had in mind anyway.
