  1. Maybe Honda became embarrassed running adverts to the song ‘to dream the impossible dream’ when scoring a point came in to that category. It almost summed up their season.

  2. does this single a change in direction for the team’s marketing agenda?

    i think u mean signal a change

  3. Fixed, thanks.

  4. the force india site is really good!

  5. The best Honda advert this year was from a GP that Button retired from.

There was a shot of Button walking out of the back of the pit garage, followed by the cameraman zooming in on the “the power of dreams” slogan on the back wall. :)

  6. Honda’s adverts may have been stupid considering their season, but they were a damn site better than that clucking chicken insurance company who sponsored ITVF1 before. That advert had a negative effect on me – ever since then I have not taken financial advice from poultry.

  7. The problem with those adverts was like everyone else I remember Team Chicken and like everyone else I can’t remember who the company that was advertising.

  8. I don’t think anyone’s stayed with ITV’s book-end ad coverage for long since they introduced it in 2004 (we’ve had The Guardian, Toyota, Swiftcover Insurance and Honda, lasting one year each). Maybe it just means ITV charges too much money for too little return for that particular part of their ad package.

  9. maybe now we’ll stop bearing about button everywhere!

  10. Just thought everyone should know, on the Force India site, there is currently a vote in place to decide your favourite Force India driver, Sutil, Fisico or Liuzzi. In my opinion, you needed to know so that we, as F1 fans, can vote in this poll and make an informed decision.

  11. here’s an odd thing. the f1 fanatic link on force india seems to have gone awol, while others have appeared.

are they rotating them randomly or something?

seems a bit mean if they removed your link after you was so nice and linked to them :(

  12. Wonder if it’s something to do with my old friend Sri who seems to have dissappeared too – hope to hear to the contrary – and as for the honda adverts – doesn’t make sound commercial sense too pay top dollar for adverts for at the time a nowhere team – maybe with ross that will change around – lets hope so – we need more challengers

  13. I don’t know about the FIF1 link – I’m sure they wouldn’t have deleted it they’re wonderful, discerning people… It does rotate, like you say, I’ll have a look at it later.

  14. I was not aware of this. Regards for letting me know.

  15. A formidable share, I just given this onto a colleague who was doing a bit evaluation on this.

  16. Really nice design and good written content , very little else we need

  17. Your page is looking awesome. You have a lot writing skills.

  18. I would prefer to use some of the content on my blog whether you do not mind. Naturally I will give you a link on your web blog. Thanks for sharing.
