A first for F1Fanatic.co.uk

I’ve just finished reading Alan Henry’s new book “The Top 100 F1 Drivers of All Time” – I’ll be posting the review as usual on Sunday. But I got a pleasant surprise when I flipped through the back pages and found the publishers had printed a portion of my review of Mark Hughes’ “Lewis Hamilton: The Full Story” as an endorsement.
This is the first time one of my book review has been quoted by a publisher and I’m delighted they are starting to get noticed. Seeing ‘F1Fanatic.co.uk’ on the page next to the Sunday Times, Autosport and The Observer certainly put a grin on my face.
More Lewis Hamilton books
- “Lewis Hamilton: The Full Story” – Mark Hughes
- “Lewis Hamilton” (Andrew van de Burgt, 2007)
- “My Story” (Lewis Hamilton, 2007)
- “Lewis Hamilton: The Story So Far” (Gareth Rogers, 2007)
- “Lewis Hamilton – New Kid on the Grid” (Ian Stafford, 2007)
- “Lewis Hamilton: A Dream Comes True” (Brian Belton, 2007)

That would be cool – he’s not joined the F1Fanatic Facebook Group yet though, as far as I can tell…

I notice you didn’t include James Allen in that list.

Well done, Keith – thoroughly deserved and an early hint that the publishing world is beginning to take note of the net.

…or The Independent on Sunday, Daily Telegraph, Motorsport, Autocar or Top Gear!
Actually I didn’t mention Allen because his was the only name above F1Fanatic.co.uk

Well done Keith – if only certain others made note of your comments and ours as well – having them do anything though might be too much though

You and the site deserve the recognition – there’s basically only 4 motorsports websites I visit every day without fail, and this is one of them – it’s a terrific site.

Well done. I’m glad I found your site. There’s something good on it every day.

I agree with all the things that the other people said, even if one of your videos managed to crash my computer – can’t have everything though can you?
Anyway good work.

Don’t worry Becken I am still reading Keith’s work as well : )
Good on ya Keith! Well done mate. I reckon by season 2012 you will have a paddock media superpass for all races and have an opinion peice in each months Autosport.

Thanks everyone for your very kind compliments I promise I won’t my new found stardom go to my head…

Be careful Keith. You don’t want to end up like Amy Winehouse crying for Lewis Hamilton at the Grammys…

Well…between this and the Google search for Max Mosley (10 videos Max Mosley should see) that lists in the top ten,I would say that F1fanatic is getting much deserved recognition.
Congrats Keith!

Congratulations, Keith! Clearly some sections of the insider F1 community are beginning to notice the quality internet media outlets
I notice they haven’t put your quote into its full context, but that’s probably because if the general public knew that you thought all of the Lewis Hamilton biographies had significant weaknesses, the book’s sales wouldn’t be quite so good…
