A bit of a shame that Hakkinens drive from (I think) 14th to first in 1999 only to lose the lead to Frentzen when he spun at the hairpin and thus finished second never got a mention.

Arguably one of the best drives of his career.

3 things:

(1) Ever fascinating article as always, Journeyer.

(2) The picture of the Williams and Ferrari at the top: the cars looked so much better in those days than they do today.

(3) A feature on Leyton House would be interesting, I have to say other than what I’ve just read, I know literally nothing about them.
