Not much different from what Kimi would've done elsewhere that year, and nothing historic about this race either. It wasn't in McLaren's best interests either for JPM to stay ahead of Kimi, if you know what I mean. Ben, I believe they reprofiled Bus Stop to get a heavier braking point there, as well as to get a longer start-finish straight. Why, you wonder? Why, to encourage overtaking, of course!
