is Sutil abnormally tall?
Sutil is 1.83 metres, making him the same height as David Coulthard. The only drivers taller than them are Kubica and Webber, at 1.84m.
Webber and Coulthard look shorter than they are because they are standing next to each other, so they look a bit more average in terms of height. The effect is increased because Button, on Coulthard’s left, is only 1cm shorter than him. Kubica doesn’t look as tall as he really is because he’s sitting down. Sutil, on the other hand, has Rosberg on his left (1.78cm) and Fisichella on his right (1.72m). While neither of them are particularly short in F1 driver terms, it does make Sutil stick out like a sore thumb.
