The FIA over the years perhaps decades have been ruining the essence of what Formula one is all about. The sport is starting to feel like NASCAR God forbid, on an even playing field all car build the same. Formula one is about innovation, technology, trying to build a better car than the competitor. How can this be accomplished when there are so many rules governing how the vehicle is constructed?
The big names manufactures are no longer present in F1 Porsche, Maserati, Aston Martin, & Lotus to name a few,
what we are left with is these small budget teams that acquire engines from bigger manufactures, and the only way the FIA can make these teams competitive is to change the rules and regulations.
