  1. Lewis in 12th? He made the finish line walking? :D

    1. No, he didn’t make it through the finish line.

      @ Keith
I guess there should be ‘Were not classified’ and not ‘Did not finish”, right?
Hamilton didn’t finish the race, but he was classified.

      1. I’ve changed ‘Did not finish’ to read ‘Not classified’.

    2. If he would have done it walking, we’d still be faster than both Ferraris…. and finished 3rd…. but he stayed there talking with the stweards after the crash….

And I was hopes for a Ferrari-free podium at their home ground…

      A 3rd place gift to Kimi…

      I’ts one of those days… :(

Still happy about Brawn UP and Red-Bull… where were they? – fighting with Williams and Toyota for the last places ?

Mercedes rules – on the McLarens, on the Brawns and on the Force India. And Red-Bull has engines from a soon to be banned brand… Williams has Toyotas same as Toyota.

And to think FIA FORCED all the new teams to sign deals with FORD Cosworth…. We can already be sure that it will be those 6 cars at the last 6 positions all season next year…

We can already be sure that it will be those 6 cars at the last 6 positions all season next year

Don’t be so certain. Sure, there’s reports that it’s three to four seconds a lap slower, but there is simply no way the FIA would let teams it had hand-picked use someting so abysmal.

And you never know … if Ari Vatanen gets the presidency, he may rescind that order. Or the EC could force the FIA to give the new teams the option of whatever engine they please.

  2. he finished within the last lap.
the regulament says something ’bout it

  3. I have a question – If a guy crashes on the last corner, gets out of the car, takes his chip timer with him (pulls it off the car) and runs over the line before losing a position, is this legit?

    Thanks!

  4. Get over with lewis hamilton saga….he is a done deal and break up with the pussy lead didnt help a bit . And if you dont like ferrari because they are good as maclaren in their prime you are not just over biased but simply have no knowledge of f1 .These are bad times for both ferrari and mac. But one gets to forget how we enjoy the battle between mac and ferrari when they are competitive cars with champion drivers(still they are champion drivers to date but not for the cars). So keep biting you tongue till 2010 and its going to blow your mind with the hype and from loads of frustration of underperformance of 2009. Hummggh kimi didnt do bad given fair amonut of hype of alonso, shumi return to scuderia him a buyout offer of 2010…be fair

  5. every car that was lapped by Lewis remained behind him since the lapped cars are not allowed to complete their last lap.

  6. Hamilton placed 12th by all but one of the sites I’ve checked (the BBC) and they’ve got him as retired.
