F1 designer unveils electric car (BBC)

"An electric car created by ex-McLaren Formula One designer Gordon Murray has been unveiled."

Q & A with Mike Gascoyne (Autosport)

"We [Lotus] are looking for two drivers with experience. We are not looking for pay drivers or new drivers. We think that is very important for the team. What is becoming clear to everyone of the new teams, is that we have gone from last to first of the new teams very rapidly. We are being seen as a serious entity. We have got quite a lot of interest, but we want two experienced drivers there. […] Jarno has, over one lap, always been sensational. That is even more important in a new team because you need to know where you are on a Saturday. Jarno can always give you that."

Trulli: Toyota was too inconsistent (ITV)

"In general there has been a trend in the paddock for a lot of ups and downs, but we look like we suffered a bit more – sometimes really strong performances and then stepping back really quite a bit."

Lotus design under scrutiny (Autosport)

"The team is concerned by the fact that the Lotus was fitted with wind-tunnel tyres that featured hand-writing from Force India staff – meaning they could only have come from the Silverstone-based team."

Pétition pour le circuit de Spa Francorchamps

"We are an association of people who live near the track of Spa-Francorchamps and we want to confirm that we are not disturbed by the permanent work of the circuit."

Then who complained couple of months ago?

  2. i signed the petition!!! everyone else should too, regardless of where you live.

  3. Hear hear. Everyone should sign the Spa petition or it really will be closed down – and never mind Silverstone, that would be a tragedy.

  4. Trulli: Toyota was too inconsistent

Well, you are somewhat of an expert on the matter, Jarno.

  5. Murray!! What have you done?? Don’t spoil your legacy by designing such crap plz!! You are an idol to all us amateur designers.

    1. I agree it looks like a skip. Forgetting the asthetics though I really don’t understand electric cars; we spend half our lives being nagged about turning the plugs off after we leave a room and yet we have to plug in a car all night. There must be a better way…

      1. I believe that what he’s made is a chassis and other manufacturer’s will put their bodywork on it. Or so I’ve been told.

  6. Such crap? I wouldn’t say so. Highly innovative and should be applauded for it.

In what way is it crap, do you know something we don’t or is that a completely uninformed opinion based purely on the image in the article?
