Easy. Distance from Cosworth to Ilmor is merely 10 miles. When the first closed its F1 department at the end of 2006, guess where all the engineers went…

On top of that, the way they interpret the engine freeze seems to involve spending more on R&D than they did before…

Please don’t use the word ‘gotten’, Keith, as it is one of a multitude of Americanisms that are infiltrating our language far too often. Please use correct British English at all times. ‘Got’ or ‘have obtained’ etc, instead of ‘gotten’. Thank you.

Kaz granted the engines, and considering his 2008 performance, there was no sign that he couldn’t repeat that. i’m a bit sorry for the guy, as h is extremly fast, but not constantly and not in the right moments.

i agree Patrickl, and that’s why papa Hamilton wants to stay Kovalainen as well. basically, anyone that would sign to McLaren with Hamilton onboard, his career would damaged.

@James: as i said, i have nothing against neither Sutil, nor Force India. my statement was rather raional than emotional considering the performance of the German. the development of the team is really welcomed, but i assume it was mainly Fisichella that had his share on the improved car.

I still can’t believe Williams stuck with Kazuki for so long…. what a waste of space that was…. if they got a guy that score half as much as Rosberg, they would of ended the season 5th at worst…

i hope their new combination of drivers will suit them well next year… i was hoping for a Williams Renault rebirth but…..

apparantly Renault were also denied the use of the DDD by C Whiting and the FIA.
