Bertrand Baguette, Julien Jousse, I saw them both in the World Series by Renault (thanks Keith, the programmes always called it Formula Renault 3.5, now I know) race at Monaco in 2008.

Best name ever (in my opinion) Renger Van Der Zande, pronounced by TV commentators Van Der Zander. Runner up in British F3 championship 2009.

Could be because one of the new teams already picked him up. I heard that Álvaro Parente brings sponsorship, albeit for F1 only, so it’s all or nothing for him.

Indeed, they could very well get some cheap publicity by running at least an interim livery. E.g. black with ‘Mercedes-Benz’ on the bonnet, like the Sauber C12.

I think Paul di Resta is also on fo the most promising driver in this line-up.After all he beat sebastian vettel for F3 Euroseries 2006 title in the same car and we all know how good vetteel is?
I think Force india have picked up a gem.

Great article Keith- I was wondering why you had not mentioned anything about di resta and Hildebrand testing for Force India. This is a great summary of who is running this week- quite an impressive lineup by the looks of it.

Rossi and Hildebrand are going to suprise some people- if you don’t know them aleady, you shoulden’t forget their names for long. I also look forward to Gutierrez getting a run, as I feel he’s a bit under-rated among many observers.
