Massa to drive F2007 this week

Felipe Massa is to have another test run in an F2007 in the coming week.
Testing restrictions mean he is not allowed to drive the F60 except for promotional activities. Instead he will use a two-year-old car supplied by Ferrari’s Corse Clienti Department using demonstration tyres at Mugello in Italy.
He last drove such a car two months ago when he first returned to the cockpit following his crash at the Hungaroring. He also drove an F60 during the Ferrari World Finals in Valencia.
Massa said:
I wanted to jump into a Formula 1 car before the end of the year, so I made the most of being in Maranello to do it. I would like to thank Ferrari for having giving me this present.

This is good news. Another positive step in the right direction for Felipe.
I also love how he dressed up as Father Christmas to give presents to Ferrari’s employees families! LdM also said before that Massa should be used as their inspiration after all that he has been through and he has came out fighting.

Unfortunately he will find very bad weather (I lived 20 km from Mugello and it’s cold and rainy). Ther eis a chance for snow, too…

Good news for him,other team don’t have the luxury of having their client donating car for the driver’s testing & Ferrari own two private test track which I don’t remember any F1 team have.

He ran yesterday afternoon and this norning. It is cold and bright here, 8/9C. There is an update later on about the afternoon session. I will let you all know what happens.
