Actually Rossi’s front wing settings did give him an advantage in the off camber corners, through which h was considerably faster than anyone else.

Tut tut, naughty Meritus.

Take nothing away from the kid, he was awesome in the race. Filippi was too, but he ran out of fuel.

Yeah Rossi had his two front wing angles adjusted to slightly different settings during qualifying, which isn’t allowed. It was probably accidental and it probably didn’t confer any advantage but rules are rules.

He was 14th by the end of lap one – sixth is a result to be proud of from there. If he can keep just one of the iSports behind him tomorrow he’ll have done well… two would be very impressive.

I just watched the race, thanks to bit torrent! The track was so dusty it looked like it had rained…amazing! Also, I think someone might crash in the tunnel tomorrow as a few guys came pretty close to losing it today.

Alex Rossi did pretty good, considering that he started dead last. He’s one to watch for sure.

Rossi put in a fantastic drive to get that far back up the grid after suffering a setback that was (apparently) none of his fault. For as happy as I am to see his excellent driving today, it is disappointing to think that he could have pushed Turvey, Bianchi and the rest if he haden’t gotten the penalty.
