Testing notes

Jarno Trulli gets his first taste of the Lotus T127 today. The team have completed 174 laps’ testing this week, just 29 fewer than Virgin who were able to test throughout last week as well.

Two teams have now logged over 1,000 laps of testing – Ferrari (1,098) and Williams (1,043).

Mark Webber set the fastest time of the test so far yesterday in the Red Bull RB6 – will anyone beat his mark today?

  1. OMG another red flag in the closing minutes

    It was caused by glock

  2. Trulli put in more than 140 laps! compare that to the 23 from Glock…

I guess we won’t see a VR car finishing a race ’till the summer.

  3. Button finishes with quickest time at Jerez, but it’s all pretty close.

  4. Well that’s it then.
Next week in Barcelona to heat us up for the first race!
See if VR can get more laps and Lotus more speed.
Last year the grid was really close together but I think this year the gaps may be a little bigger.

  5. Weather forecast looks really good for the Barcelona area from next Thursday onwards.

  6. I’ve been looking thru the Sauber run’s… very impressive!

The Guy put in a very long series of 80′s and 79′s sec. laps; that seems credible enough.

  7. 3rd Test all times, all days for those interested.

    Final update to spreadsheet…

That Sauber run was impressive but I think all but the new teams could run in the 1:18′s the top 4 in the 1:17s or less.
