Jarno Trulli

Narrowly missed out on reaching Q2 – Kovalainen edged him by just nine thousandths of a second.

Trulli survived his clash with Timo Glock but as his car’s handling deteriorated he slipped down the running order and was the last of the classified finishers.

Heikki Kovalainen

Took Lotus to their first appearance in Q2 and qualified highest of the new cars.

A messy attempt at a pass on Lucas di Grassi left him with a punctures tyre, but he lost much more time with an hydraulic problem.

After a long pit stop he was sent back out at the end of the race but having lost ten laps he was not classified.

  1. Keith, I think (and as you also point out) that Heikki had two stops not one like it says on the table: the puncture and the longer (like 11 minutes) one with the hydraulics…
