Karun Chandhok

Was passed by Timo Glock on the last lap but ultimately took the place back as Glock was later handed a penalty for ignoring blue flags.

Bruno Senna

Started last after being out-qualified by his team mate. Picked up front wing damage when he was passed by Glock but didn’t realise quickly enough to pit and had to do an entire lap with his front wing hanging off.

Brought the car home in 20th place.

    1. I find it funny that Karun’s seat is talked as being in danger when he “leads” the new teams if you gave them points for their individual finishing. Sure there is a 6-3 quali advantage to Senna but it’s all about finishing the race isn’t it?

      1. Using that logic, the time is nigh to get Patrese out of retirement!

    2. They said all the talk about Karun’s seat (before it was Bruno’s seat) and how it’s all nonsense. Some rumours spreading around for some reason at HRT. Well that’s what they said…

    3. “Picked up front wing damage when he was passed by Glock but didn’t realise quickly enough to pit and had to do an entire lap with his front wing hanging off.”

I do love this line, and what it implies about how horrible that HRT is to drive! Say what you want about Bruno and Karun, but I think they are both doing the best job possible in the circumstances.

    4. They are actually one of the best drivers on the grid….driving that slippery truck is credit to them itself
Well Done Karun…..Hope u will shine
