Doesn’t FP3 has to finish a limited number of hours before qualifying???

There has to be a 2 hour break in between.

Ahh, if only New Zealand had time travel, I wouldn’t have to stay up so late. *sigh*

I know, sometimes living in New Zealand sucks, actually the only times it sucks is when F1 is on cause it’s on at midnight, argh

Not sure if the WC final will not affect the after-race programmes on BBC1 ….. wouldn’t like to be switching around the channels ……. :-( Thank goodness the WC will over on Sunday!! ….. ;-)

The race will be finsihing by 3pm and the WC final show doesn’t start until 6:30pm – I wouldn’t imagine it would cause a big problem.

Live TV? Wouldn’t that be nice.
In the US it’s tape delayed until 9am PST on FOX, at least it is in California.
Have fun with the live blogs, F1.com timing, McLaren in car radio notes, twitter feeds and other 21st century items that will be irrelevant here in Silicon Valley. Sigh.
In a couple of years maybe we’ll have better internet feeds that will make live coverage universally available, until then I choose to avoid the grainy race feeds and wait impatiently (OK, asleep in bed) for the TV coverage.

Might be a silly question, but could you use a proxy server to access BBC online?

Tut. That would be illegal. Like proxify.com for example? I’d never do that… Any other web sites I should, er, avoid? Do tell.
Actually I’ve tried it once and failed.
I hear many proxy ‘services’ are security risks. [Read that on the bbc web site probably].

Canadians: turn on your TVs 5 minutes to TSN before 8am Eastern Time to see both qualifying and the race. For anything else, you’re on your own, as usual (though at least they split the screen for the adverts)

I use a VPN to connect to a server in UK and then BBC Redbutton or Livestation. If I can wait until after the show it can be seen on BBC Iplayer with almost no degradation of image quality – seen on a 32 inch flat screen.
