Fernando Alonso, Felipe Massa, Ferrari, Hockenheimring, 2010

It wasn’t a very happy-looking podium ceremony after the German Grand Prix.

The controversial circumstances of the race left Felipe Massa in particular looking rather subdued.

Have a look those pictures and more from the race in the selection below.

  1. too many unhappy podiums so far this year… it must be a record…

    1. I guess every team must stated clearly on their drivers contract about who is number one and who is number two.

  2. My condolences to Massa

Blatent team orders to let Alonso past, I hope he is pleased with himself, can’t be a very satisfying result fo Alonso, dissapointing for fans. Its the bloke in front who wins, not neccessarily the fastest.

  4. Those corporate trophies really are disgraceful.

Yeah its just a Santander logo! I wouldn’t be pleased to have that in my trophy cabinet!

    2. Spot on… they are horrid…

the worst thing tho, is that every single trophy no matter where the race is held is exactly the same!…

      they should make different ones…

Although at this rate, as F1 falls into disgrace and obscurity, the trophies will get worse as fewer and stranger companies sponsor the sport.

Don’t be surprised to see this as a trophy in the not-too-distant future:

  5. Nice Pictures!
You can really see how pleased Massa is to be 2nd…

why should this be put up with in this sport its wrong or is it all about cash.

ps both drivers should be disqualfied this would then stop.
