Felipe Massa drove a Ferrari F60 at the Hungaroring for the first time since his life-threatening crash at the wheel of one last year.
He drove the car, and a road-going Ferrari California, as part of the Ferrari Racing Days event in Budapest.
Also on track were members of Ferrari’s F1 Clienti Department driving 15 of the team’s single-seaters including a 1990 641 as driven by Nigel Mansell, and Michael Schumacher’s 310B from 1997. See below for pictures.

Beautiful pictures of some stunning cars. Who is driving in the “Ferrari 310B, Hungaroring, 2010” as the helmet design looks a bit like Gilles V’s?
Also if you look closely on the last one (“Ferrari 248-F1, Hungaroring, 2010”) the driver is wearing some funky glasses.

I just saw the word “Mansell” and zoomed straight to his picture. The car that performed my favourite overtaking manoeuvre of all time, no less. Such a simple and elegant beauty.

Didn’t the pre-event press release say Massa was going to drive the F2008?

That is what I thought. I don’t know why Massa would want to be reunited with last years rubbish car!

I think it is a cool move, which rather clearly says: Yes, I had a bad experience with this car, on this track – well, now I am back, no problemo!
Very good stuff I think. And great to see him make donuts – maybe that’s what the F60 is good at, blowing smoke :-p

If I remember well, it was Marc Gene, who drove the F2008.

Isn’t he driving the F10, or is it an F2009 with the 2010 livery?

Are you trying to suggest that Ferrari are actually doing testing for the F10 under the guise of F60 to sneak around the testing ban?

No, at first I thought that, but I now realise that it’s an F60 with F10 livery.

Me too. Too bad, since I like the F60 livery better.
