Sakon Yamamoto

Despite the drama in the pits Sakon Yamamoto continued to finish 19th.

He ran last for almost all the race but gained one place when Lucas di Grassi suffered a suspension failure.

As in Spa, out-qualified Yamamoto then retired with a car failure.

    1. I feel really sorry for that HRT mechanic, I watched the video and then wish I hadn’t, luckily he had a helmet on because that tumble was hardcore.

      1. actually he wasn’t wearing a helmet, my bad, still hardcore.

        1. he’s not wearing any helmet or any gear that a pit crew should wear. I guess his only protection was the headphone he’s wearing.

    2. That $20,000 will really hurt HRT as well.

They didn’t even have the money to install a Monza setup, they used the Monaco spec. car…

    3. Poor Bruno. I hope he can find a better team next year, or that HRT can sort out their issues.
