FYI, Sky programme guide shows the correct times for Qualifying but the race coverage ‘apparently’ starts at 13:10 and finished at 15:15.

I suggest you check your recording settings if you are Sky+ ing it.

They have done this before. They normally correct it later in the week.

    1. I think you’ll find the 13:10 time is for the re-run.

  2. Forecast for the whole weekend is wet, sounds like good fun and a Button win!

    1. Sources are a little mixed. By averaging them out we should have a little rain on Friday and more when the sessions are over, some rain throughout Saturday, and maybe rain on Sunday. Can’t wait!

      I’m hoping for a 1994 repeat ;)

  3. @ CB, I think that’s the midday re-run. Should be on earlier too.

  4. No practice sessions for me this weekend!

  5. Guess i’ll be able to see FP2 before college.
Not staying up/getting up for the first one though!

Doh! For some reason I thought the race was on at 7pm and not 7am. Not sure why. What a muppet I am. :-)

    Thanks for clearing that up.

  7. Can’t wait! First race since China that I get to see live.

  8. Rain = Vettel or Hamilton favourites
    With Alonso and Jenson close
but i think webber is a bit of a slow poke in the wet tbo. maybe matching

  10. Ok Aussies, this is what you have been waiting for BIG SUNDAY!
10.30AM to 5PM, the biggest and best touring car race on the planet Bathurst 1000!
And then right after the end of the race hopefully
5PM to 7PM Japanese Grand Prix.

Hope you haven’t used all your brownie points with your wives and girlfriends last week and can spend the day in front of the box

Also hope there aren’t too many safety cars at Bathurst pushing the race into the F1s

  11. Wont be getting much sleep this weekend.. worth it though!

  12. Im hopelessly terrible at time conversions, and with this Japanese time zone, its made thing even worse…whats all the times converted to US/Eastern? Keith, could you help

    1. The F1 Fanatic Google calendar has the times for all the sessions on it and you should be able to view it in your local time:

Does anyone know if the looped replay of qualifying will start immediately after the live broadcast, (on BBCi page 3001, sport multiscreen) or will they wait until after the repeat at 13.10?

It’s just I have a very long day on Staurday, but if I can watch it immediately after I get up, then I won’t have to avoid sports news all morning!

And no, I can’t Sky+ it, I only have normal Sky.

    Thanks,

    Nathan

Definitely a Sky+ job for me, will watch Quali and Race as soon as I get up and avoid all new sites at all costs! :p

  18. Sat alarm set for 6am ;)
