    1. Its gonna be a late (or early) one for those of us in Australia.

Qualifying is on ONE at 2.50am Sunday morning in Sydney and Melbourne, 1.50am in Brisbane, 2.20am in Adelaide and 11.50pm Saturday night in Perth.

The Pre-Race Show (Probably not worth getting up for) starts at 11pm Sunday night in Perth, 1.30am Monday in Adelaide, 1am in Brisbane and 2am in Melbourne and Sydney.

The race is on at 11.50pm Sunday night in Perth, 2.20am Monday morning in Adelaide, 1.50am in Brisbane and 2.50am in Melbourne and Sydney.

      1. Oh yes, I’m looking forward to 2:50am Monday morning. Who needs to sleep anyway?

        1. I need sleep. Got maths methods exam that morning. May record and avoid news

          1. Im dreading when I have to do my Yr12 exams. Hope they dont clash with F1. Thankfully this years arent for a few more weeks and F1 will have finished.

            Good luck Stretch! :)

            1. Yeah, I was thinkin that last year…
              Thanks

          2. Similiar… I have a uni exam on monday at 12:30… kind of important to do well so its touch and go. Leave at 11… must be up by 10:30.. but the race wont finish till 5.. and 5:30 isn’t enough sleep for an exam …. AHHHHHHHHH..

Why does britain get to complain when in Japan (a good race but not really a decider since early 90’s) while no one really hears that much from us when we have to record the decider for the last few years and miss news?

            1. well i have to work monday morning, so recording it is the way to go, its going to be a thriller !! :)

      2. Wish they’d move Brazil back to the start of the year. Its the one race with the worst timeslot for us and its usually a must see as someone has the chance to wrap up the title.

        1. end ov year u mean…..

          1. @jon, Brazil used to be one of the first rounds, until about 2003, when it was moved to the end of the season.

Personally I like the end of year Brazil round. Its different to the others having to get up soo early. Canada is pretty much the same and Austin will be when it starts in 2012.

Ideally I’d like it to start an hour or two later to avoid the dilemma of wheather to go back to bed or not but overall its worth it. If it was China or Europe on the other hand, I’d definatly reconsider bothering to get up.

            1. I am only too glad that all the races in the season end up being telecast live at perfectly watchable times here in India. Geographically lucky I guess.

    2. Not bad for one living in singapore, qualifying & race starts mid night.

      1. I once watched reply at 1am and I wasnt sleepy at all.

    3. Birthday’s evening with F1 race in my favourite track xD Im so happy

    4. SPAIN

Every event is one hour later than BBC. (race starts at 5PM)

http://www.lasextadeportes.com <- Online and live every event (only from Spain i'm afraid)

La Sexta TV Channel <- live the 3rd free practice, qualyfing and race.

      1. Here in the Canary Islands same hour as the UK, and it was still Spain last time I checked.

    5. I’ll be in a hotel in Paris this weekend. Does anybody on here know which channels show the race live, and if there’s a highlights show? (there’s a chance I may miss the race)

Or even better, if the French have an iplayer equivalent?? Any relevant info would be much appreciated…

      1. TF1 show qualifying and the race live. Coverage starts just before 17:00 local time.

    6. US

FP1 Live streaming at speedtv.com Starting Friday 9am (Central)

FP2 Speed live TV Starting Friday 11am (Central)

      FP3 Not aired

Quali Speed Starting 11am (Central) they say live but probably as normal 5-8min time delayed

Race Speed coverage starting 9:30am (central) with race start at 10am (central)

Yay… Second and last time this year I get to sleep in or not stay up until the middle of the night on a raceweekend.
Nice not to have to get up at 7am to watch quali and race or stay up until 3-4am (wife will not know what to do with me having a “NORMAL” schedule on a RACE WEEKEND!!! LOL

    7. Keith, you forgot to mention that if you live in Scotland that the BBC will showing the race on BBC 2 not BBC 1. Furthermore remember that you can watch qualifying and the race on the new BBC 1 HD in upscaled HD.

      1. Didn’t know either of those, thanks for pointing that out. Interested to see if upscaled SD is any good.

    8. Just about to post that myself :)

    9. Fans in Asia especially in Bangladesh & India have to watch highlights of the qualifying session on Sunday Midnight, check your local listing.

    10. What would be good, is a ‘convert to you local time’ method such as the F1.com site. For us Johnny Foreigners. Would be great! :)
