The official F1 season review DVD packs five hours of footage including unseen material onto two DVDS.

The review, called “Sebastian’s Coming of Age”, doesn’t go on sale until next week.

But we’ve got ten copies to be won in an exclusive F1 Fanatic competition.

Apologies to F1 Fanatic readers outside the UK but this competition is only available to residents of the UK and the Republic of Ireland. This is because the title is published by different companies in different regions.

To enter simply send in your name, address and answer to the following question via the contact form below:

Which driver was runner-up in the 2010 F1 drivers’ championship?

This competition is now closed

Your contact details will not be used for any purposes other than administering this competition.

Competition terms and conditions
1. Maximum one entry per household.
2. The competition is not open to employees, friends or family of F1 Fanatic or Universal Pictures UK.
3. The competition is only open to residents of the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
4. In the event of a dispute the editor’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. No cash alternative is offered for any of the prizes.

  1. :( I hope I was in UK…

But Keith, why are these competition questions so damn easy? Instead you could have asked for the postal address only :D

    1. Me too…………………………

    2. I have to agree with you, but really with the help of google pretty much any question is this easy….

      1. Yeah …a question like “Who is faster than you?” is much more difficult.

        1. That would have been a brilliant question!!

  2. Too bad not being able to put my entry!!! :(

  3. Ooh, that’s a toughy…

I also know that in 12th place was Kamui Kobayashi and in 15th was Vitantonio Liuzzi. Does my bonus knowledge win me a DVD?

  4. UK only… rats!

  5. Woops sorry, I was gungho and put my mailing address and I don’t live in the UK, sorry about that!!

  6. I guess more than half the people who visit this site cannot win it. I’m in that half.. :(

  7. Oops, I forgot to put my address in the contact form, so discount that answer. I’ve sent another one in with a different email address, hope that’s ok

    1. Apologies Keith but I have just done the same as Ned! Hope it’s ok…

I suppose as two of us have done it now you’ll have to let us off! :)

  8. I’m a big fan of globalisation and global free-trade, that’s my favorite part of F1 … so I’ll enter, and if I win – I’ll post a comment on the relevant thread with my own (much, much harder) competition question to win the discs, only for people outside the UK.

Before sending me karma to help make my name pop out first, probably best to make sure you can all play (I guess Region 2 Coded) PAL DVDs.

  9. keith is collecting all uk resident addresses for __________ ;) purpose, be careful very careful

    1. No I’m not!

  10. Apologies to F1 Fanatic readers outside the UK but this competition is only available to UK residents. This is because the title is published by different companies in different regions.

What kind of lame excuse is that?

Make it global or dont post a question at all. And yes, i dont like it that the UK residents get favored.
We watch and enjoy F1 as much as them.

    1. it’s not Keith’s fault! he’d get in trouble if he started gving copies away outside the allowed region.

    2. Kimster, why are you being so very childish? So if you can’t enter, no-one should be allowed?

It is clearly Universal Pictures prerogative to add any legitimate license related conditions they choose to their prize, and it is Keith’s prerogative to choose to operate the competition under those conditions. Your only choice in this matter is to attempt to exercise common courtesy and show a modicum of respect for those decisions, a simple task in which you have singularly failed.

You may not agree with it, so what?
This site, and Universal, and FOM, and the world, owes you nothing, let’s not embarrass yourself and all of us with any more of this tedious caricature of typically selfish and over-wrought, internet foot-stomping … please.

      1. internet foot-stomping

Best term I’ve heard for it yet. :-)

      2. I like your style, Mr Feynman.

      3. @Kimster – COTD!

Your comment was a bit too short. Please go back and try again.

        1. Whoops that was mean to be @Feynman

Just to be 100% ckear I completely disagree with kimster!

    3. What kind of lame excuse is that?

I always try to offer competitions to all readers where possible. As far as I can recall every other competition on the site this year has been open to all readers.

Sometimes that isn’t possible, as is the case here. It isn’t a question of favouring one group or another, it’s simply a function of how the publishers have chosen to distribute their DVD.

      1. As far as i know the UK is in Europe and im on the other side of the channel, thats also Europe. Its the same region ;)
Why not give it to everyone in Europe (or RegionCode 2)?

    4. Usually it is the US residents that get all the preferential treatment…

Also, this is a UK based website so stop being so rude :P

Not to mention the fact that they might not even work in your DVD players anyway…

      1. I have a Philips DVD player that takes any regioncode ;)

  11. Apologies to F1 Fanatic readers outside the UK but this competition is only available to UK residents. This is because the title is published by different companies in different regions.

Whoops. Didn’t see that before I submitted.

  12. Slightly off-topic:

Anyone know if/when/where this will be released in Region 1? I’m in the US and I definitely want a copy.

  13. Does living in a former British colony count? Hahaha! ;-)

  14. Being British rocks.

  15. No chance of Republic of Ireland entries being allowed? Sometimes the publishers for both Ireland and the UK are the same.

    1. Good question – yes you can enter, I’ve updated the details accordingly.

  16. Ugghh. I saw the ‘UK only’ part just before posting.

    @ Robyn : Same here. Lol.. :)

  17. Aw, nuts, Keith. I was just on a previous site that would only let you use pseudo html and I messed up my post.
Perhaps you could integrate a “preview” option into the site or a “cancel” option?
