Virgin will have their 2011 F1 car ready for the second test of the year.

The MVR-02 will be launched in London on February 7th ahead of the Jerez test.

The change of model designation reflects the arrival of investor Marussia which was announced last year.

Weren’t they going to launch in Moscow? Back then they first bought in, Marussia were talking about a Moscow launch.

I’d say that looks fairly conclusive of Marussia’s seriousness – I expect the Marussia name will be used in the constructor name from 2012, if they haven’t already applied to change the name for 2011.

LOL. Well… I guess the fuel tank region is still under construction. A few races into the season and that area will have to be worked on again.
