Oh no, I had heard Pirelli ran out of yellow paint pens, but who though it was a good idea to put white/silver lines in the yellow tyres instead of the tyres already denoted as white or silver. This is going to be even more confusing!

They need to just use color coded wheels/rims.

I don’t think the teams would agree to colour coded wheels, overall car livery is important for sponsorship. I think pirelli need to think about colour coded sidewalls, similar to indycar, but that may be too extreme.
