  1. I like the sketches of the drivers above the pits, a nice point of difference for Canada

    1. Yeah a very nice idea for something different.

    2. Too bad they messed up the colors on the German flag. Either that or we have a massive amount of Belgian drivers in F1 now.

      1. Haven’t you heared we’re expanding? :P

  2. I wonder if that new kerb in the last chicane is more slippery or higher than it was before. (Like the ones in the Rettifilo and in the della Roggia.)

Taking into account the unusual DRS settling it is an even more crucial corner to negotiate well.

    1. It is.

Rosberg made it – literally – through it though. Vettel didn’t.

Where are the Mclaren driver pics ;)

    1. Not got any I’m afraid.

      1. “Not got…” Woah, I’ve never seen such a grammatic construction.
Is it popular in spoken English? A question to all native speakers here.

        1. I haven’t got any = I have not got any = not got any

        2. It certainly is. ‘Nowt’ meaning ‘nothing’ is a personal favourite of mine.

  4. If HRT decides to put a different driver in the race, à la last season, does that mean someone is going to have to draw a new picture very quickly? ;-)

  5. The German flag for Sutil is wrong :s Should be black, red, gold not black, gold, red (Sorry I’m a bit pedantic). Is it like that for the other Germans??

    1. Look at the pictures Nico Rosberg posted, seems its the same for all of them – http://yfrog.com/cayilvj.

Maybe they started at the back of the grid with D’Ambrosio’s belgian colours and sort of forgot its a different country!

      1. Ridiculous! That’s an horizontal Belgian flag.

    2. Great vision eh? That is indeed quite odd!

  6. Oh no Fernando. That cap makes you look very silly, I’m afraid. :(

    1. n the glares are okay? blue with a white frame? :P

    2. I actually like his new hat, it’s suits him better than the old one – because of his long hair the old one looked as if it was too tight. The glasses are horrible however.

  7. Does anybody know where to get the hat Alonso is wearing.

    1. The shades are far cooler.

    2. Just buy a similar looking red hat with a bit of white on it.

  8. i love it how all the driver sketches are of happy faces… apart from schumacher’s!

    1. Wait for Maldonado’s Or Raikon…oh.

sorry…. I’m just in front of Schumi, waiting to get his autograph.

        1. Ah, right. Nice!

    2. Just left of the middle in the first, and far right in the second of the two Ferrari pits pics? Cool. Enjoy your weekend!

  10. Keith these pictures are great.

Have you ever thought about using a Lightbox plugin so that people can move from one picture to the next as a slideshow?

    1. Good hint. I hate to click and click and wait until another pic load and so on.

The Nico sketch makes him look like Burt Reynolds, maybe the simialrities don’t end there! There is something “Smokey and the bandit” about Mercedes this year, but Schuey is looking like the hapless “Smokey” forever chasing the Nico the “Bandit”.

  12. Best image is ” SALUT GILLES “,no way he can be forgotten
