Ferrari looked amazing. To be honest, I was kind of rooting for Massa to beat Alonso this time around, and for a long time he looked like he was going to… must be a disappointment for Felipe when he’s clearly had his best session of the entire year so far.

I’m getting so sick and tired of Vettel dominating every circuit on the calendar, I was cursing at the television when both Alonso and Massa came across the line and didn’t get pole position… Someone please stop Red Bull, just get it over with the blown diffusor regulations and take away their biggest advantage… I know it’s childish, but I wouldn’t mind at all…

You gotta hate Alonso for that… until the last seconds! :P

I must say I was kind of rooting for him too Roald! Your comment is excellent, gave me a good chuckle.

massa should be on the front row at least but he went so wide going across the start/finish straight. being third on the grid though is better than second

    Pole for Vettel!

Webber faster than both McLaren’s ‘without’ KERS!

Vettel is just dominating. I find it amazing really, and even though I´d prefer a more balanced season I am loving it so far.

Good for Alonso and Massa. Lets see how good their pull off is tomorrow. Massa is on the cleaner side so expect him to Jump Alonso and then drive off line into marbles and crash :P

It’s the same order as Germany 2010… I hope for an identical start, and if Ferrari are going to let Alonso through I hope he won’t be second so Massa can be safe! It’s ad though to think that Ferrari can have a one-two only with Alonso in front, so I have to give up a good result for Ferrari to see a good result for Felipe – I prefer the latter.

With all the DRS assisted overtaking.. I’m pretty sure Alonso would blow by Massa anyways.

I’m not supporting team orders, but I can understand if Massa is asked to move over for Fernando. Massa has 2 or 3 good weekends in an entire season.. as compared to Alonso, who has his A game ready on every circuit. If Ferrari want to still maintain the slimmest of chances for a WDC, they have to see Fernando finish in front of Felipe. Sad but true.

Ferrari doesn’t have a shot anymore. I think it would be more honorable if they would just concede that fact and let their boys actually race one another. If anyone can catch Redbull, it has to be McLaren, they are so much closer to them in points.

You could have said the same thing before the German GP last year. Alonso was 47 points off the leader with only 7 races to go. They cant give up so early.

Not a bad session. Well done Jarno, Nico, Paul and Felipe. Some great results for them.

  7. Half a second between Paul and Adrian and the former has never driven this circuit before this weekend if I remember rightly. Congrats to Paul but Sutil’s not having the greatest time is he?

Well done to Michael Schumacher, I started supporting him once Nigel Mansell left and I’ve never stopped supporting him. He’s a legend, I’m just hoping it’s a matter of time before he can start challenging the higher end leaders again.
