Expect no repeat of the rain that hit the last race in Canada this weekend.

Valencia is forecast to be bathed in sunshine as it hosts the European Grand Prix for the fourth time.

Air temperatures will be in the high 20s, pushing up to 30C across all three days. That should send track temperatures well into the forties, as has usually been the case at this track.

The weather tab on F1 Fanatic Live will have updated forecasts throughout the weekend.

In the event of any drastic changes in the forecast, here’s a weather satellite image for the areas:

    1.
Hopefully the DRS will make for an exciting race anyway!

      1. It will certainly have to opportunity to prove it can work for the race.

Best place to have it on yet.

        1. The DRS’ biggest challenge since… the other Spanish race! :P

    2. woohoo, hot track – tyre degradation?

      1. Pirelli were going to bring the super-softs but it’s now the mediums and softs. I think they cited the high temperatures as a factor.

    3. I’m quite glad it will be sunny. This season has been better when the track is dry and I’ve been finding myself hoping for no rain! How things change eh? Especially since the race gets red flagged if the track is too wet for intermediates now.

    4. Ah glorious sunshine :)

Good news. I love seeing the cars fling themselves through Sector 3 at full pace.

    5. Of course the most boring track had to be placed on a city where it barely ever rains… Hopefully DRS works though
