Young Drivers Test Day 1 in pictures

F1 pictures

A collection of mostly unfamiliar helmets in familiar cars as the first day of young driver testing began at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi.

Ferrari ran a large airflow measuring device on their car for some laps, driven by Jules Bianchi.

Here’s a collection of pictures from today’s test session.

I like the bodge job Williams have had to make with the PDVSA sponsorship decal on the engine cover. As they white space it usually occupies it taken up with 2012 spec exhaust, they’ve had to move it up so it straddles the blue. Looks very messy.
