Is it for certain that they are using period cars not replicas? Risky business filming with antique machinery, as mechanical difficulties could cause frequent costly delays. Even if they’re replicas at least it’s not all being created in CG. That just wouldn’t be right. I wonder how they’ll handle Lauda’s crash? Hopefully they’ll use physical effects as well.
