LOVE that 3rd pic of Nico!
..also is this the 1st time Merc have put AMG on their car..?
I’ve never noticed it before!

They’ve put it this year on their car because Mercedes are now competing under the “Mercedes AMG Petronas” moniker.

Ross Brawn says the 2012 Merc is “OK”.
I’m busy Googling what he said about the 2009 Brawn at this stage…

There’s something about that Mercedes man.

You have to think that since they tested with the WO2 first, trying to understand the tyres further, which was a real problem for them last season, that they have a chance of progressing further up the order.
I wouldn’t mind betting that they’re as quick or faster than the Ferrari this season…

maybe the exhast plumes were visible, so they blackened out the trailing air in the pic.
Jamey said on 25th February 2012, 7:24
No. Not photo shopped. Couple spots on track that have what photographers call light pockets. You just have to expose the camera for the light spot and time it right.
nemo87 (@nemo87) said on 25th February 2012, 9:04
I retract my comment and apologise! Just didnt look right the way the light was around the wheels for example
Keep up the good work

Ignoring the huge advantage you would give to your competitors, some team ought to run an all flo-vis livery :D

Red Bull had the central pillar back under the rear wing…. Interesting as they were the team pioneering on having the exit as clear as possible…
