Lewis Hamilton won the world championship in the 2008 Brazilian Grand Prix.
He was on course to win the title for most of the race. But with three laps to go he fell to sixth place behind Sebastian Vettel. That put Felipe Massa in a position to win the title.
But on the last lap he caught Timo Glock, who had stayed on dry-weather tyres and was struggling for grip on an increasingly wet track. Hamilton passed the Toyota driver for fifth place at the final corner, clinching the championship.
