The German Grand Prix is one of the most long-standing and historic races on the F1 calendar.
It has been part of the world championship calendar since 1951, and only rarely has it not featured on the schedule.
For many years the race was held on the daunting Nurburgring Nordschelife, before safety concerns and Niki Lauda’s terrible crash in 1976 forced a move away from the track.
How much do you know about the race? Test your German Grand Prix knowledge with this new 20-question quiz (Note: all the questions refer to the race when it was part of the world championship).
