ZanteX takes Predictions Championship lead

Predictions Championship

Sergio Perez, Sauber, Monza, 2012@ZanteX was one of six players who tied for the top score in the Italian Grand Prix Predictions Championship round and took over the lead in the points battle.

@Ap04 won the pole position time tie-breaker and earned a 1974 Autocourse eBook as a prize. The runner-up was @RaV, who wins a Grand Prix Heroes DVD, and @ZanteX took the third-place prize of an F1 poster from PJ Tierney.

Commiserations to @Jwknight, Paul Ogbeiwi (@Pauldstar) and @Sinewave who also scored 31 points but did not win a prize this time.

With over two-thirds of players correctly predicting Lewis Hamilton to take pole position and more than half selecting him for victory as well, this was a much higher-scoring round than the last race.

5 Points. Shame on me (as a Hamilton fan) for backing Button!

  2. One knackered fuel-pump away from getting the podium right. I share Jenson’s pain!

Thanks, I’ve just filled out the contact form.

I would like to thank Keith and PJ Tierney for this wonderful opportunity, those posters are a work of art! :)
Now let’s try and stay near the top of that leaderboard. :D

Damn, I dropped 50 places. I really thought that Button was going to do what Hamilton did. I did get Checo in the top five though, he was due.

  5. As Button would say, I still have an outside chance to win the championship, but from now on I have to try and win every round.

306th :/ This has been a dire season for me and I think for many others as well.

    Congrats to the victors!

  7. Ouch, only 6 points for me. I would have done a lot better if Hamilton’s car had died instead of Button’s, ah well.

Wow, I can’t believe that I actually forgot to set a prediction in time. One missed round, and I’m already past the 200th position.

    Not nice.
