Ferrari mechanics change the front wing on Fernando Alonso’s car during first practice.

Raikkonen causes trouble in Q3

Kimi Raikkonen’s spin during Q3 caused problems for several drivers.

First past the scene is Sebastian Vettel, who was on course to improve his pole position time but backed off and was caught by Fernando Alonso at the chicane later on in the lap.

Nico Hulkenberg and Kamui Kobayashi also pass by before Raikkonen pulls away.

Classic F1 cars in action

A demonstration run for classic F1 cars before the race featuring Shinji Nakano (Ferrari F2003), Aguri Suzuki (Larrousse-Lamborghini Lola LC90) and Satoru Nakajima (Lotus-Judd 101)

Cheers for Kobayashi

A warm welcome for Kamui Kobayashi on the drivers’ parade, who then gets a great start to take second place.

First-lap carnage

A good view of the action at turn one including all three incidents plus Mark Webber reversing out of the barrier and continuing while Nico Rosberg and Fernando Alonso’s cars are recovered.

At turn two, Romain Grosjean runs into Mark Webber and Bruno Senna hits Nico Rosberg. Grosjean and Senna were both handed penalties.

Grosjean’s bent front wing can be seen creating sparks as he accelerates away.

Action at the hairpin

Kobayashi takes third

The final stages of the race, with a great cheer from the crowd as Kobayashi holds off Jenson Button to take third place.

Kamui Kobayashi takes to the run-off to get closer to the crowd on his way back to the pits after finishing third.

    Last video was so fun!

    • Kimi’s video was not…. such a rookie mistake. For goodness sake! He ran wide joined the track only to run wide again!! SMH.

    That pit-stop is hilarious! What prompted them to do that?!

    Also, why is their a flashing red (it looks red) light on the Raikkonen video?
