Who is Wendy Keith ? ;)
Keith Collantine (@keithcollantine) said on 1st November 2012, 17:11
@vickyy I’m curious to learn myself. It’s definitely nothing to do with me!
Though it may be something to do with restrictions on advertising alcohol in the UAE.
vickyy (@vickyy) said on 1st November 2012, 17:24
Ohh, if that is the case, then it is little strange, it is the same restriction on advertising alcohol in India

Wendy Murray said on 2nd November 2012, 21:40
Yep quite right. It was a competition win thanks to Whyte & Mackay whisky and wow what a prize. Definitely money cannot buy prize. Absolutely amazing to see our names of the Sahara Force India cars. So thrilled and cannot wait to watch the qualifying tomorrow and the race on Sunday. :)

Wendy and Keith Murray are competition winners – so their names are on the car while Alcohol advertising is restricted for this race…

Haha, that’s pretty cool. Reminds me of the old Benson and Hedges Jordans.

Good thing the winner wasn’t called Jack Daniels.

In the Toro Rosso steering wheel picture, you can see there is a big orange ‘fail’ button. I think Buemi and Alguersuari pressed it a bit too much last year…
Mads (@mads) said on 1st November 2012, 18:03
@andae23
Buemi definitely pushed it too hard just before this happened: http://goo.gl/P8V5E
Force Maikel (@force-maikel) said on 1st November 2012, 19:40
I am actually wondering why that button is on there. What does it do?
Force Maikel (@force-maikel) said on 1st November 2012, 19:42
I just found out they had it since the day the showed up in F1. This is the STR-1′ steering wheel and it is on there as well.

@force-maikel I believe it’s for entering error codes when something has gone wrong on the car.
Prisoner Monkeys (@prisoner-monkeys) said on 1st November 2012, 23:24
@force-maikel – I’m guessing it’s a part of an error routine. If the driver inputs changes and they don’t take effect, he presses the fail button and that purges the instruction from the system to prevent it from interfering with any subsequent commands, because the ECU might continue to try and process it if it is not wiped from the system.

Keith is now sponsoring Force India as he knows thath FI is in financial difficulties due to the owner’s faltering business . :)

Ricciardo, that hat is too big for your head.
Wendy Murray said on 2nd November 2012, 21:46
Who are Wendy & Keith? Well tis moi and my wonderful husband Keith. I entered this competition from the link Alexf1man gave above and to say I was over the moon to have won is an understatement.
We are both big F1 fans but have sadly never been to an actual F1 race although we have been to the Yas Marina track a couple of years ago to watch the V8 supercars and GP2 and Oh My it was amazing.
What a prize, a true money cannot buy prize and I am eternally grateful to Whyte & Mackay for this fantastic prize.
