Photozen wins USA Predictions Championship round

Predictions Championship

Sebastian Vettel, Martin Whitmarsh, Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, Circuit of the Americas, 2012Four drivers tied for the top score in the United States Grand Prix round of the Predictions Championship.

After the pole position time tie-breaker was applied @Photozen came out on top ahead of @CMikeF1 and Yayra A (@xdugu19). Congratulations to those three who respectively win a 1976 Autocourse eBook, a Grand Prix Heroes DVD and an F1 poster from PJ Tierney.

Commiserations to @3dom who scared the top score but didn’t win a prize this time.

With one race remaining @Carpy3 holds a useful 14-point lead. But there are 74 different players who could win the championship outright in Brazil and lots more runners-up prizes to be won as well.

First time I reach the 19 points mark. I had the correct prediction of the top 5 at one time, sad Kimi had to go backwards :(

Can’t believe I’m 33rd, especially after being 250+ for most of the year, and last year as well. Still within a shout of the Championship, but I’m going to need a Raikkonen-style ’07 result to get near the top, and I predict that it will be very tough to get some decent points in Brazil!

Well, all I need next week is to score 35-40 points, a dozen or so of the people ahead of me forget to enter, and I’m in with a chance!

Hamilton passing Vettel was great for the championship, but not so good for my championship.

Thanks for the commiserations @keithcollantine so close. I’m usually within a tenth or 2 with the pole time prediction, 1st I’m further out & it actually costs me ;-)
But to be fair I just think it’s cool to get joint top score & get a mention. Thanks again
