Caption Competition 24: Hamilton and Red Bull
Caption Competition
Lewis Hamilton is leaving McLaren for Mercedes next year – but is there another car he covets?
On more than one occasion during 2012 Hamilton said Sebastian Vettel was “lucky” to have a car as competitive as the Red Bull.
So what was Hamilton thinking as he watched Vettel in action during this year’s Indian Grand Prix? It’s up for you to come up with the best caption for this picture and post it in the comments below.
As usual a pick of the best will feature in the daily round-up.

“I don’t want a lot for Christmas
There’s just one thing I need
I don’t care about the presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is…
You”

admit it you started reading the words to the tune after you realised what the words were :P

life is not fair. 3 straight titles without breaking a sweat. And the great Ayrton senna had to go to war for 10 years, not only against prost, but to the fia as well… to do the same.
yeah, life is not fair.
Dizzy-A (@david-a) said on 10th December 2012, 4:53
Life is fair. SV, who i assume you’re talking about, has stamped his authority on the last 3 years. He has 3 titles to show for it. Simple.
M Dickens (@sgt-pepper) said on 10th December 2012, 14:40
I’m pretty sure it’s Adrian Newey who’s stamped his authority on the last three years of F1.
Dizzy-A (@david-a) said on 11th December 2012, 2:54
@sgt-pepper – I’m pretty sure that it is Sebastian Vettel who was stamped his authority on the last 3 years of F1, since Sebastian Vettel is the 3 times WDC.
M Dickens (@sgt-pepper) said on 11th December 2012, 14:06
@david-a – Maybe so, but the trophy ought to reside in Newey’s office, not Vettel’s.
Dizzy-A (@david-a) said on 11th December 2012, 14:44
@sgt-pepper – Senna’s titles belonged to Gordon Murray then.
You can continue to deny that Vettel deserved his 3 titles, but there is nothing to say that his success is any more down to the car than other drivers when they win.
M Dickens (@sgt-pepper) said on 11th December 2012, 14:46
@david-a – So you honestly believe Vettel is an equal to Senna?
Dizzy-A (@david-a) said on 11th December 2012, 16:17
@sgt-pepper – I didn’t say that. But it’s total nonsense to say that Senna, or other champions didn’t do it in a fast car, and Vettel’s career, for its short length, has been brilliant in its own right.
