This is probably, F1-wise, my favourite time of the year… so many new cars in such a short time! Just enjoying their look (or not enjoying, since 2012) and wondering! And then the tests, with all of their mysteries and their particularities, such as test drivers and late afternoon runnings which make for perfect pictures!

It’s going to be good to see what a difference these “modesty panels” will make…lets hope Lotus are going to use/fit one!

Some of the pitures seem to indicate the lotus won’t have one, it’ll have the step. I reckon most teams will keep the step, saves on development.

Davide Valsecchi will be Lotus reserve driver ,the announcement will be this night
AndrewTanner (@andrewtanner) said on 28th January 2013, 20:25
@tifosi1989 Then what of D’Ambrosio? What’s your source?
Fixy (@fixy) said on 28th January 2013, 20:30
@andrewtanner seems to be pretty much official now, Valsecchi himself shared this link on Facebook with picture of him in the Lotus suits: http://motorsport.nextgen-auto.com/gallery/pictures/2013/f1/index-uk-pres-lotus-28jan-3.php

Thanks mate @Fixy Phew! D’Ambrosio is still there!
Fixy (@fixy) said on 28th January 2013, 20:31
@andrewtanner the Nazionale Piloti page has specified that Valsecchi is third driver whilst d’Ambrosio is reserve driver, and I’m not the only one wondering what the difference is: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=543874918965330&id=115965535089606

Some staggeringly poor questions from the Sky presenter.

Surprised to hear him bring up Hamilton, twice. :]
AndrewTanner (@andrewtanner) said on 28th January 2013, 20:26
Pretty terrible that he did. Clearly trying to speak to the average Sunday afternoon fan there, little disappointing.

total decals only on grosjean’s overall!!!
Kingshark (@kingshark) said on 28th January 2013, 22:46
Stupid Sky presenter. Team Lotus car launch and all he could talk about was Hamilton?
AndrewTanner (@andrewtanner) said on 28th January 2013, 23:03
@kingshark It was very, very annoying. If they’re going to talk about another driver, might as well make it the incumbent triple world champion.
Kingshark (@kingshark) said on 28th January 2013, 23:11
Indeed @andrewtanner. Now imagine Sky when McLaren present their car. Poor Perez and Button. O_0
Lewis this, Lewis that, what about Lewis? Sigh.
