Definite LH fan. Hope this car isn’t the dog that it looks like – or that last year’s car was.
Genuinely – I hope these guys find their footing this year. Can’t say I saw the sense in double DRS or sticking with Schumacher for 3 seasons (yes, the first two were that bad in my view. More positive interpretations seem intellectually dishonest to me.) And then there’s the “on again, off again” tenor of the Mercedes mgmt message.
So – does LH know some things we don’t – well, yes – he’s tops in the business. He must. Still, I’m trying to understand the argument against signing a 1 or 2 year with an out with McLaren (after all, they’re best poised to challenge RBR this season – could pickup another driver’s title).
Anyhow, refreshing to see refinements to Hamilton’s tactical / strategic package last year. He’s a big part of the draw for me… Uniquely talented amongst the world’s best drivers. So I’m hoping that both he and the team find a good balance this year. Let’s see.
