Every Formula One team and almost every driver can now be found on Twitter. Of the current drivers only Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen don’t have accounts.

But there are many more F1 people to follow in the F1 Fanatic Twitter Directory which has been updated for the coming 2013 season.

The revised list reflects all the driver moves over the off-season and adds dozens of new accounts including team members, mechanics and prominent members of the F1 media.

The full list includes almost 400 accounts and includes descriptions for some of the less well-known names.

Find the updated directory here:

And of course make sure you’re following F1 Fanatic on Twitter as well:

  • F1 Fanatic – The main F1 Fanatic account with breaking news and more
  • F1 Fanatic Live – Live updates during all F1 race weekend and test sessions
  • F1 Fanatic Update – New articles only: Get a Tweet when something new is published on F1 Fanatic

If you would like to suggest an addition or alteration to the list, please use the comment form on that page.

  1. no wonder kimi and seb get along well….they are alike in a way !!

  2. Kimi is on Twitter @The_Iceman7 unless that is a very close and informed fake, but I think it’s himself.

    1. It certainly doesn’t look real and I’ve seen no indication it is. What makes you think otherwise?

      1. Surely it can’t be Kimi. He hasn’t spoken that much in his lifetime.

      2. Maybe PFF1 is actually @The_Iceman7 ?

      3. @keithcollantine That’s the one I told you about (on Twitter) that the official Lotus account follows. Not that that’s proof that it’s real, of course — but some people might see that and assume as much.

        1. @aka_robyn Lotus also follows a fake Grosjean account (@FakeRGrosjean), a fake Lotus team account (@FakeLotusF1) and a dozen more fake accounts.

The strongest argument I have that the Kimi account is fake is that it’s missing the blue ‘verified account’ badge. Take Valtteri Bottas: he joined Twitter a few weeks ago and his account has already been verified by Twitter. Kimi Raikkonen simply doesn’t have a Twitter account.

          1. @andae23 No, to me that “Kimi” account doesn’t seem real at all. On the other hand, it doesn’t make it clear that it’s fake by labeling itself as such, the way most of the “reputable” fake F1 accounts do — quite the opposite, in fact. Maybe Lotus just wants to keep an eye on the account.

          2. That’s probably the most likely reason

          3. @andae23 And frankly, if Kimi Raikkonen were to turn out to be the sort of person who tweets things like “Never let your head hang down. Never give up and sit down and grieve. Find another way. Enjoy your day.” I would need to completely reevaluate my opinion of him. ;-)

          4. And frankly, if Kimi Raikkonen were to turn out to be the sort of person who tweets things like “Never let your head hang down. Never give up and sit down and grieve. Find another way. Enjoy your day.” I would need to completely reevaluate my opinion of him. ;-)

I would think that he would lose about 80% of his current fanbase @aka_robyn!

      4. Take a look at a tweet Nicolas Prost @nico_prost made 4 days ago. All in all a lot of posts seem genuine to me. Naive maybe ;-)

  3. I think Seb’s realised that twitter is a horrible addiction! It would be good for the fans though to see him on twitter but personally I’m not too bothered.

  4. Twitter is a great way for F1 fans to get together and for drivers to talk directly to those fans without fear of being misquoted.

  5. Looking at that Melbourne start picture, who would have thought that the season would end with Fernando finishing just 3 points shy of the championship and Mclaren finishing no better than 3rd in the Constructors.

    1. Ha! True, pretty amazing to think about it.

  6. How do you navigate to the twitter Directory starting from the home page?
If the link wasn’t there on this story, I can’t see how to find it otherwise.

  7. The entry for Tom Cary needs editing:

urrent entry: https://twitter.com/tomcaryf1 – there it says “This account has moved to @tomcary_tel”

    correct entry: https://twitter.com/tomcary_tel

    1. Got it, thanks.

  8. Lewis has two accounts. The other one is this one: https://twitter.com/F1LH

  9. Can anyone answer my previous question:
” How do you navigate to the twitter Directory starting from the home page?
If the link wasn’t there on this story, I can’t see how to find it otherwise. “

  10. Yep! Go to “Contact” at top of page, then “Community”, then “Twitter”. Simplez. : )

    1. Thank you, Adorimedia.

It is counterintuitive that a link in the subdirectory “f1-information” in the tab “Info”
      https://www.racefans.net/f1-information/f1-twitter/

has to be accessed via a link in the subdirectory “community” from the tab “Contact”
      https://www.racefans.net/community/f1-fanatic-twitter/
