I really hope the Mercedes don’t struggle tomorrow like previous races as Monaco is easier on the tyres

    I’m OK with these results…

Very happy for Rosberg. I certainly didn’t expect him to do so well against Hamilton in qualifying.
I hope he wins tomorrow. I feel he deserves a victory in Monaco.

Pretty happy with that, .026 off on my quali prediction

What a lost opportunity for Williams! Maldonado had the potential to reach Q3 but something wrong happened. Maybe his team waited too long to put the correct tyres on him in the closing minutes of Q2!? He was a lot faster than Bottas and ended Q2 more than 2 seconds behind Van der Garde!

Maldonado should be alot faster than Bottas given that it’s the first time ever Bottas is driving in Monaco and it’s his first season in F1. But yet again, Bottas out-qualifying Maldonado. Is it 4-2 atm during this season?

I just wanted to know what happened with Maldonado in Q2. The car was not good enough, mainly in the dry, but how the hell did he got beaten by a Caterham by 2 seconds? As for Bottas he’s doing quite well, mainly given all circumstances, but I think that with a better car and normal conditions Maldonado would have beaten him almost everywhere in qualifying, which would be only normal even if the Finnish is the potential future champion Claire Williams says he is.

I was shocked he wasn’t bumped out in Q1, let alone that he was fastest in that session. I love Maldonado a lot, but driving on a mixed or wet track isn’t his specialty at all.

Also, Valtteri “Hashtag #HashtagBOTTAS” Bottas is looking like the real deal as a driver so far. Why aren’t both of these guys driving a capable car this year?

Probably the only chance McLaren have had until now to get a car in the top 5 on a track where grid position actually matters nowdays and they blow it. I don’t get how they are so good at this.

On the other hand quite happy that Rosberg is doing so good, always thought he had it in him. Now let’s see if Mercedes can hold the rest of the field up tomorrow!

hoping for a lot of retirements up front tomorrow, hopefully marussia and/or caterham are going to score points!

    The best quali in ages!!
Everyone running on inters for 1 and a half sessions and then on to drys. And everyone able to turn laps right to the end of quali instead of worrying about having to conserve sets of tyres.
A perfect example as to why teams need to be allocated extra sets of tyres!!
